Wally's Private Parts

Your trusted source for used forestry and hard-to-find heavy equipment & parts in Western Canada.

Wallace Irwin started a successful logging company which he ran for a number of years. Wallace was looking for a business that would leave him closer to home. Wally saw a niche opportunity in the heavy-duty equipment parts business and started purchasing skidders, excavators, loaders, bunchers and other machinery from the logging industry.

Wally’s Private Parts is a household name for many people in the logging industry.

Not only does Wally have a vast amount of machinery for parts supply, he also has machines that are in good running condition. For over twenty years, Wally has sold machines and parts all over the world. His success has been due to his reputation for being fair with his prices and making sure his customers are happy.

Wally’s Private Parts buys and sells complete machines and used parts.

The complete machines are in running order and are ready to go to work. The parts machines have lots of good parts and are not burnt unless specified. Wally may have, or may be able to source, parts for machines that are not listed on this web site. There are numerous separate parts, too, including complete engines, transmissions, gear boxes, radiators, and hydraulic components.

"Wally, a mysterious person I have never met, has the best sign advertising a parts store by far. Came around yet another corner on a winding road and there it was: Wally’s Private Parts. We must have passed hundreds of signs on that particular journey, but I will always remember Wally’s. Very entertaining. Over a year has gone by, and we are still laughing. Thanks for the good memories!

His simple sign was original, creative, funny, memorable, and also very informative. In a moment, anyone driving by knew where to go and who to talk to if their forestry equipment suddenly broke down. Why deal with some generic parts store when you have an excuse to meet an interesting and creative guy named Wally? And with any luck he would answer that earnest knock on his door fully clothed."
